Ever searched for symptoms on a medical site? For ‘personal’ gifts for your spouse? It’s all about to become public knowledge thanks to Congress.

Congress has failed to repeal Obamacare, so instead, they are repealing privacy laws.

And we should all be worried.

Most all of us have searched the internet for things we don’t necessarily want others to know. That uncomfortable itch. That time you bought lingerie for your wife. That time you searched your ex’s name.

No matter what you’ve searched for and websites you’ve visited, I think we can all agree that our internet browsing should be private.

It is, after all, a service in our own homes, which we pay for.

Apart from criminal activity, anything you do on the internet should be held in the strictest of confidence.

Our Republican Congress (who I voted for) has just destroyed internet privacy.

George Orwell warned us about this, and now it’s happening before our eyes.

At least one billionaire is vowing to find and buy the internet browsing history of every member of congress.

Cards Against Humanity founder Max Temkin tweeted this:

If you’ve never called your congressional representative and senators, today is a good day to do so.

Tell them to roll back this violation of humanity.

Here is the official roll call record. Check to see how your representative voted.
