Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has announced his intentions to sell the Dallas Cowboys before the 2017 season begins.

“It’s been 20 years since we won a playoff game, and I am just tired of putting up with fans who don’t understand that it takes 2 to 3 decades to rebuild a team like the Cowboys,” Jones said in a prepared statement.

He went on to say that while he’s loved owning America’s team, he’s looking forward to retiring on the estimated $3 Billion that the Cowboys will probably sell for.

According to our sources, Mark Cuban, the outspoken owner of the Dallas Mavericks and host of Shark Tank will be putting together a group of investors to buy the team.

Cuban, as you may know, is known for his unconventional April Fool’s jokes, as this story is.

Perhaps he will keep Jerry Jones on as an adviser, of sorts.

Or maybe not.

Perhaps Cuban will find a way to keep Tony Romo around.

I hear they have a position open in the hot dog booth.
